If you are installing InerTrak for the first time or if you are updating from version 3.5.1 or higher: |

InerTrak for Unix requires Java version 1.5 or higher.
If you know that you have the right version on your machine, you should download the InerTrak installer "without Java VM".
If you don't have Java or you're not sure what version you have, you should download the InerTrak installer that "includes Java VM".
AIX, Solaris, or HP-UX users who need an installer that includes the VM, please contact us at support@inertron.com.

not work, try
java -classpath[path to]classes.zip:InerTrak_Installer.jar install - If that does
not work either, on sh-like shells, try
cd[to directory where InerTrak_Installer.jar is located]
CLASSPATH=InerTrak_Installer.jar
export CLASSPATH
java install - Or for csh-like
shells, try
cd[to directory where InerTrak_Installer.jar is located]
setenv CLASSPATHInerTrak_Installer.jar
java install - Be sure you have Java 1.5 or later installed. You can download Java from Sun's site
- In a console window, change to the directory
where you downloaded
InerTrak_Installer.jarto before running the installer - Your operating system may invoke Java in a
different way. To start the installer, add
InerTrak_Installer.jarto yourCLASSPATH, then start the main class of the installer namedinstall
